Volunteers will stand on the sidewalk close to the Planned Parenthood in Winston-Salem and pray for the trained Sidewalk Advocates who will be sharing hope. Sidewalk Advocates are trained to share other choices with the women entering the clinic for abortions. Volunteers are to be age 12 and older and are a peaceful, prayerful presence on Tuesdays and Fridays.
We do not hold signs or shout condemning words. Wear comfortable shoes, weather appropriate clothing, and no pro-life attire.
Sidewalk Advocate Training is offered monthly at Not Forgotten Ministries.

Recently a 19 year old drove by the Planned Parenthood several times and finally went in. She had taken the literature the sidewalk advocates hand out as the cars drive by to enter the clinic. While inside she looked at the literature and decided to leave. She came up to us and I was able to talk with her about her choices. She went into the Save the Stork bus, had an ultrasound done, and chose life for her baby! It was incredible to watch it play out! She was a believer but needed to be reminded that God had a plan for her and her baby. She needed the hope we were offering!
